Description: Dwarf spotted Grouper/Epinephelus merra

Dwarf spotted Grouper (Epinephelus merra)

The distribution area of the honeycomb grouper (Epinephelus merra), even dwarf honeycomb perch or Merra honeycomb perch is the Indo-Pacific. He lives in protected lagoons, bays and in the flat area of the coral reef. It reaches a maximum length of 31 cm and feeds on fish and crustaceans. Several times I saw the honeycomb grouper in the Beqa lagoon in Fiji.
