The home of the eye-catching honeycomb grouper (Epinephelus merra) is the Indo-Pacific. He is on the red list of endangered species. He lives in protected lagoons, bays and in the flat area of the coral reef. It reaches a maximum length of 31 cm and feeds on fish and crustaceans. Several times I saw the honeycomb grouper in the Beqa lagoon in Fiji.
