African Buffalo (Syncerus caffer) live in herds that remain for years in the same area and wander through this on fixed routes.African Buffalo live in small family ruffles, but sometimes also in large herds. As grass eaters, they are also interested in leaves and herbs. The only enemies of African Buffalo are the lions, but small animals are also endangered by hyenas and crocodiles. Although normally peaceful, shot or cornered African Buffalo can become extremely dangerous.
