Their diet consists of krill, crustaceans and squid.Wilson´s storm petrel (Oceanites oceanicus)During a Storm with strong swell and high wind speeds we met these rare small Wilson’s Storm Petrels (Oceanites oceanicus) on the open sea off the southern tip of Africa They seemed to be weightless, they were constantly moving and it looked as if they were „walking“ over the water surface to pick the smallest rests of fish baits.
