Caribbean Reef Sharks (Carcharhinus perezi) are widespread in the reef regions of the Caribbean and the western Atlantic. The body length may amount to up to 2.95 metres. At the “Shark Rodeo“ near Walker’s Cay/Abaco Islands, at the northern edge of the Bahamas, this is by far the most common shark species with sometimes more than 100 animals.
